Abdirashid Abdulkadir Warsame

FOUNDER AND CEO

Abdirashid Abdulkadir Warsame, founder and CEO of Link for Solutions Consulting, has 36 years of experience in diplomacy, peace and security, inclusive politics, national planning, and policy-oriented research. With over 20 years of experience in program design, implementation, and management, he provides value-adding consultancy services.

Balal Mohamed Osman

CHAIRMAN OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Former State Minister for Foreign Affairs Balal, who has held positions such as Presidential Especial Envoy for Horn of Africa, Red Sea, and Gulf of Aden, is crucial for Somalia's recovery and security. With an economic/auditing and teaching background, Balal has worked with international organizations like UN, AU Information Support Team, UNICEF, IGAD, Inter Peace, and IAAAP.

Abdulkadir Mohamed Gas

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS

Abdikadir Mohamed Gas, a member of Link Consulting Firm, with over 40 years of experience in social research, international development, and environmental law. He has experience in teaching, conflict mapping, peace building, humanitarian assistance, and project management.

Dahir Abdirahman Abdi

OPERATIONS MANAGER

An expert in project management with over 2 decades’ experience in humanitarian works in the fields of food security, WASH, program management, recovery & development of rural people, civic education and capacity building of communities. He is an agronomist (Somalia National University) with Postgraduate Diploma in Development Studies (Africa Graduate University (AGU).

Abdirashid Nur Ibrahim

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

The founder of SomStar Media. Former senior journalist at Somali National Television (SNTV), Ex Communications & Media Specialist at IGAD Somalia and Ex Communications & Media Director at Ministry of Planning FGS. Completed masters of IRD at Kampala university (KU), having 11+ years of Work experience at different fields, advocates for the Environment and climate change in Somalia. Abdirashid puts his effort in Youth Advocacy, Peace building and Government Development.

Omar Sheikh Abdullahi

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)

Started his consultancy career in 2008 in Bristol, United Kingdom, working as a freelancer for the City Council on a research project for Somali refugees and ongoing asylum seekers. Since then, Omar worked as a consultant for various organizations in Kenya and Somalia, including the UN agency FAO and international NGOs like IOM, Trocaire International, and COOPI. His expertise includes capacity-building, research, and translation in Somali, French, and Arabic, with a focus on humanitarian aid and development.
